East posted his birthday message to Instagram alongside a photo of him and Lambert looking lovingly into each other’s eyes and rocking ponchos in front of Niagara Falls. “Happiest of birthdays to this beautiful Texan!” he wrote. “I’ll celebrate you today and everyday ahead. @mirandalambert.”

How perfectly sweet is that? Lambert and East have been dating since late 2015, soon after Lambert split from her husband of four years, Blake Shelton, in July. Lambert and East’s relationship has seemingly been going strong ever since, giving Shelton and his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, a run for the most-perfect-relationship-contest money.
And East isn’t the only one who has sweet words for his significant other. Lambert brought her beau to the 2016 Country Music Awards in Nashville last week and shared a photo of them dolled up together on the red carpet with some sweet sentiments of her own.
