Just call Bethenny Frankel a new-age Daddy Warbucks. At least, that’s what she’s hoping.
The Real Housewives of New York star and business mogul is serious about adding to her family after she was moved by a young girl’s story of terrifying abandonment this week.

Police found the 5-year-old girl at a New York bus terminal on Monday. Her father allegedly left her there an hour and a half before she was discovered. He reportedly told her that he would be back for her, but then never returned. Once the police had the little girl safe and sound, she was able to tell them her address, which they followed to a Stamford, Connecticut, home.
A spokesperson with the Stamford, Connecticut, Police Department told People, “They went in to find the young child’s mother deceased in a bedroom at that location.”
The spokesperson said that the mother’s death was ruled a homicide and the father, 32-year-old Elmer Gomez Ruono, is a person of interest in the investigation.
The girl is in Connecticut state custody while police search for Ruono.

Frankel, however, doesn’t seem to be willing to wait that long for a conclusion to this case.

It may be easy to pass this off as “Twitter talk,” but a friend of Frankel, who spoke with People, said Frankel is “definitely serious” about providing this girl with a safe home.
There's a misconception that everyone wants an infant. Bc of this rule, babies r the only option. Once in system kids r lost. Sad.

We’ve seen the snarky side of Frankel on RHONY, but this holiday season, we might get a glimpse of her fierce maternal instincts as well.

Frankel has one daughter already, 6-year-old Bryn Hoppy. She faced a heated custody battle for Bryn when she and her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy, split.
Do you think the state of Connecticut should allow Frankel to give the young girl a home, at least for the holidays?
