Looks like the Olsen twins will still be the only original Full House cast members not returning for the Netflix spinoff Fuller House in its second season.
Lori Loughlin told the Huffington Post that Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen were not a part of Season 2.

“They’re not on Fuller House for a second season either. I’m not in any of those negotiations, nor am I privy to any information, only that I can say they’re not on again for a second season,” Loughlin revealed.
She added, “I’m sure they would more than welcome them back if they wanted to [do it], but it’s been great for all of us to be reunited. Who would have thought after over 25 years that we would actually be back shooting on the same soundstage that we did all those years ago?”
In the original series, the Olsen twins took on the same role of Michelle, the youngest Tanner family daughter. Both girls moved away from acting in their 20s, which could explain their hesitation to appear in the series.

OK, so now that we’ve got the bad news out of the way, the good news is that Loughlin was also able to share some tidbits from Season 2. She said that while she, Bob Saget, John Stamos and Dave Coulier only did three episodes in Season 1, the characters will actually have a story arc in Season 2.
