Jon and Kate Gosselin are still using their kids and the media to fight with each other

Jon and Kate Gosselinstill aren’t done publicly fighting with each other.

Their latest spat has been over their 12-year-old son, Collin, after Jon claimed that he didn’t know where Collin was and that Kate wouldn’t tell him.

Now, she’s firing back by (what else?) giving an interview to Entertainment Tonight rather than, I don’t know, talking to her ex or his lawyer or a counselor or a mediator or really anything that would end all the relentless public fighting that can only be traumatic for their kids.

During her interview, Kate would only say that Collin is “in a special school for special-needs kids with behavioral problems.”

“We are both court-ordered not to speak about the care and custody of our children in detail,” she added. “I’ve known all along where [Collin] is, but the world doesn’t know, and I’ll leave it at that.”

Jon’s lawyer also spoke to Entertainment Tonight.

“Unfortunately, Kate has shown very little regard to the order, choosing to ignore it if it suits her,” attorney Kristen Doleva-Lecher said. “Jon will strictly abide by the order unless and until it is lifted.”

She continued, “My client is a loving and caring father who is acting within the scope of the law to do what is best for his kids.”

As for Jon’s threats to take Kate to court over putting Collin in a special school?

“I’ve lost track of how many times he’s said that,” she told Good Morning America about Jon threatening to sue her in yet another public interview about their personal family issues. “I’m really focused less on what Jon has to say. I don’t really pay attention, to be honest.”
