Things are already heating up in the Caribbean for Prince Harry.

Harry, who just set off on a two-week official visit to the Caribbean, had a super-awkward moment with the prime minister of Antigua.
People magazine reports that Prime Minister Gaston Browne jumped the gun a little and assumed things were serious enough between Harry and his new girlfriend, Canadian actress Meghan Markle, to talk about the honeymoon.
And he didn’t even do it privately — no, Browne encouraged Harry to choose Antigua for his honeymoon at an event in front of a crowd.

“And I understand that there may be a new addition to the royal family very soon? I am told that there may be a new princess and I just want to say that should you make the decision to honeymoon — then Antigua and Barbuda want to welcome you,” he said. “We have been voted consistently as the best honeymoon destination in the Caribbean — and one of the best in the world — so there will be nowhere in the world as special to spend your honeymoon, when that day arrives.”
Meanwhile, Harry winced and messed with his shirt while he avoided eye contact and didn’t reply to the prime minister. Yikes.
What makes it even more awkward is that there were more than 300 guests at the event. Poor Harry.
He and Markle have been dating for a few months, but reports already say it’s pretty serious business. Insiders have told reporters that they’ve already said the big “I love yous,” and Harry is planning to take Markle on a romantic vacation somewhere after he finishes his state visit in the Caribbean.
