Bethenny Frankel & Jason Hoppy may be divorced, but the drama isn’t over

If the latest news about Bethenny Frankel‘s ex-husband Jason Hoppy is true, the guy might actually be insane.

According to TMZ, Frankel’s current boyfriend, Dennis Shields, is threatening to sue Hoppy if Hoppy doesn’t stop sending him emails insulting Frankel.

The outlet reports that Shields has been included on 49 emails that Hoppy has sent to Frankel accusing Frankel of being ugly, old and irrelevant.

Hoppy also reportedly recommends that Shields run for the hills and states that Frankel has a “revolving door of men” and that Shields will “be gone soon.”

Frankel and Shields have been dating for about a year now, and he’s standing by his woman — with a lawyer.

Sources told TMZ that Frankel and Shields are fed up and Shields’ lawyer has sent Hoppy a letter telling him to stop sending emails immediately or Shields will sue.

Hoppy has yet to comment on the accusations.

Hoppy and Frankel were married in 2010 and separated in 2013. Their divorce was only officially finalized this past July after a heated custody battle over their daughter, Bryn. Page Six reports Hoppy celebrated his divorce by shredding the document and throwing it in the fountain at the Four Seasons, where the couple wed.

I think if Hoppy is actually sending emails in “increasing frequency and hostility,” then Frankel and Shields have every right to turn to legal action in order to get him to back off.

And this isn’t the first time Hoppy has come across like a total creep.

Hoppy allegedly told Frankel once, “I’m going to destroy you. I’m going to have you and your publicist crumbling and crying in the corner.”

He also apparently wouldn’t let her be alone with her daughter and would give her death stares every chance he got.

Sounds like Hoppy needs to focus his life on moving forward, maybe with some professional help.

Do you think Frankel and Shields should sue for harassment if it turns out these emails are real?
