The former Cosby Show actress shared one of her sonogram photos from her pregnancy publicly for the first time on Thanksgiving, captioning the shot with a sweet message of thanks and hope for her baby-to-be.

“This has been this single most challenging year of my life,” Pulliam wrote. “However, I wake up this Thanksgiving more grateful & in awe of God’s power than ever. Thru it all this little face has kept me going & helped me tap into strength I didn’t even know I possess.”

She continued, “I am so eternally grateful for my little Ella. I would not trade any of what I have gone thru for her. She is my greatest accomplishment & joy. She has inspired my smile even thru the tears. I am so proud she has chosen me to be her mommy.”

There’s no question it’s been a year of ups and downs for Pulliam. Just days after she announced her pregnancy, her then-husband, NFL linebacker Ed Hartwell, filed for divorce and requested a paternity test. The two hadn’t even been married a year — they tied the knot on Jan. 2 after just four months of dating. They’ve also argued publicly since then about what caused their breakup — Hartwell alleges that she was pressuring him to have a baby before he was ready, while she says it was because he cheated.

Pulliam hasn’t spoken publicly about whether Hartwell will be involved in her baby’s life, but has gushed about how much she’s looking forward to being a mom.
