Viall just wrapped up filming the new season of The Bachelor, which starts airing Jan. 2. Sources tell Page Six that they saw Viall out at a bar in Chicago and that he wasn’t the ladies man he usually is. Is that a sign that the show was finally a success and perpetually single Viall finally found someone?

Viall was reportedly having dinner with a few guy friends, including fellow Bachelor in Paradise alum Evan Bass, at Fabio Viviani’s Siena Tavern in Chicago, where some other people in the bar recognized him, including some good-looking female fans.

“Two female fans came up to the table, but Viall kept his distance and was on his phone the majority of the time,” an onlooker said, noting that Viall was texting someone throughout the dinner. “It seemed to be a boys’ night out.”

If Viall is finally engaged (or even in a relationship), it’ll be a big change from his previous runs on TheBachelor franchise. He’s appeared on two separate seasons of The Bachelorette, where he was runner-up in competing for both Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe. On both seasons, he brought plenty of controversy, like by spilling on the reunion show that he and Dorfman had sex in the Fantasy Suite, by hooking up with Bristowe long before the Fantasy Suite even came into play and by pissing off every other guy on the show.

There’s also been news saying that Viall will come face to face with an ex on The Bachelor — and by “ex,” we mean a woman he slept with and then never called again. Please let that rumor be true because all I want from life is to drink a bunch of wine and watch that play out.
