Mariah Carey has a new diet plan that’s super-simple, but super-expensive.
She’s only eating salmon and capers.

Yup, you read that right.
She’s only eating salmon and capers.
In an interview with E! News, Carey revealed her extreme diet, saying, “It’s really hard. My diet, you would hate it. You don’t need it. All you eat is Norwegian salmon and capers every day. That’s it.”
I love me some salmon, but I think that diet would make me hate it real quick. I also hope that Carey is taking a really good vitamin supplement in there too. Otherwise, she’s probably lacking in a lot of important nutrients.

Not to mention, I looked it up, and Norwegian salmon will run you about $25 per pound. Considering that’s all Carey is eating, let’s say that grocery bill will add up in a hurry.
Carey added, “I try to stick with the proteins. It’s the worst.”
I, like many others, now have so many questions. Can she prepare the salmon however she wants? Raw, cooked, smoked? Or does she have to eat it the same way every day all day. Just the thought makes me shudder, and again, I love salmon.
Of course, I would love to have Carey’s bangin’ body, but I think I’ll stick to the gym and healthy eating to get me there. This strategy seems unnecessarily extreme.
