There are a lot of reports in the media stating that a feud has been brewing between Blac Chyna and the Kardashian sisters — and it’s not the first time.
More:The Kardashians may have ulterior motives for being mad at Rob’s engagement
The problems all started when Chyna — who’s engaged to Rob Kardashian and recently gave birth to their first child, Dream — reportedly decided to change her name to Angela Renee Kardashian and trademark that name. And, in an attempt to protect their name, the Kardashians’ lawyers reportedly filed documents to stop Chyna’s application to trademark “Angela Renee Kardashian,” TMZ reports.
The legal documents reportedly stated that if Chyna was allowed to use the Kardashian name, Kim, Kourtney and Khloé would reportedly “suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill.” Harsh, right?
Of course, rumors ran wild that the family was now at war over this decision, except it turns out that everyone may be overreacting for no reason. TMZ now reports that Kris Jenner is playing peacekeeper and that Jenner personally reached out to Chyna to tell her that the family is not trying to exclude her and that she intends to call off the lawyers.
TMZ also reports that the rest of the Kardashian clan are all trying to ease Chyna’s mind to make her feel better about the original lawsuit, and they have reached out to assure her that the decision was nothing personal, just standard legal protocol.
More:Wait — surely Rob Kardashian’s not mad that Kendall Jenner dissed his baby’s name?
As with all things Kardashian/Jenner related, things are often taken out of context and made to seem much worse than they are. In fact, we’re having a hard time believing that the family was at war with Chyna, although it’s important to note that according to TMZ, Chyna’s trademark still hasn’t been approved.
