Not that we had any doubt as to the seriousness of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s relationship, but it seems that the pair is so happy that they don’t care who sees.

Prince Harry and Markle were snapped together for the first time in public while enjoying a date on Wednesday evening, Dec. 14. According to The Sun, who obtained the photo, the couple was seeing the play, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime at the Gielgud Theatre in London’s West End.
While it’s not a red carpet debut, the outing is pretty significant, and according to the publication, passers-by were left stunned when the couple walked through some of the city’s busiest streets: Piccadilly and Shaftesbury Avenue.

Markle and Prince Harry have been dating seriously for around three months, and according to the publication, a friend of the prince revealed that although privacy is important to him, he is clearly not afraid to be seen in public with his girlfriend.
“They are clearly crazy about each other and have told friends they are very much in love,” the source added, before commenting on the couple’s choice of date: “As an actress Meghan loves the theatre so this was an obvious date to go on.”
While Wednesday’s date was the most public date yet, it isn’t the first time the pair has done things in public. According to People magazine, on Monday, Prince Harry and Markle were seen shopping for a Christmas tree at the Pines and Needles store in London. Cute, right?
