Rumors of a Kim Kardashian and Kaye West split are still flying around like crazy, and Kardashian isn’t doing anything to help them — in fact, she’s adding fuel to the flames.

Kardashian was photographed in public over the weekend without her engagement ring, which while definitely not a sure sign that there’s trouble between her and West, sure isn’t going to help with the rumors.
In the photo, Kardashian is driving her SUV with her 1-year-old son, Saint, in the backseat and friend Brittny Gastineau in the passenger seat. She’s not completely ringless — she’s sporting a simple gold wedding band in lieu of the massive emerald-cut diamond ring that West gave her. The engagement ring she has now is reportedly an “upgraded” 20-carat ring that West gave her after her 15-carat ring that West proposed with in 2013 was stolen when Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.

It’s definitely not the first time Kardashian has gone ringless, and she’s been seen out without her flashier pieces of jewelry more and more since the robbery. It would make sense for her to be taking a break from flaunting her wealth with jewelry after almost $11 million worth of it was stolen in the incident.
But reports still say that there’s trouble between her and West, and that this could be a sign. They’ve reportedly been living apart since West’s very public meltdown that led to a canceled tour and a hospital stay. Both stars have been avoiding the spotlight, and neither has commented on the state of their marriage.
