It’s not often we get an inside look at Gwyneth Paltrow‘s love life anymore.

Once an A-list actress with a highly public romantic life until she “consciously uncoupled” from ex-husband Chris Martin in 2014, Paltrow now spends her days working at her lifestyle brand, Goop, and pretty much staying out of the public eye. And who can even blame her? Being that famous must be exhausting.

Still, we’ve known Paltrow has had a little somethin’-somethin’ on the side for a while now, even if she’s been keeping him all to herself. And on Wednesday, she gave us just a tiny li’l peek into her private life when she shared a selfie to Instagram with her long-rumored BF: Brad Falchuk.

“Happy birthday, handsome,” she captioned the photo, which is a little blurry, but still so adorable.

Paltrow met Falchuk, the co-creator of Glee, when she did a guest stint on the show back in 2010. That was years before she and Martin called it quits, but there must have been something there, because Paltrow and Falchuk were rumored to be a thing within months of Paltrow’s official split from Martin.

Even though it’s pretty much common knowledge that Paltrow and Falchuk are low-key together, though, they almost never talk publicly about their relationship. This is only the second time Falchuk has made an appearance on Paltrow’s social media — he was included in a photo collage she made of all the special people in her life over Thanksgiving, and other than that, there’s no online evidence of their relationship.

They definitely have plenty in common, though. One of the very few times Paltrow has spoken to reporters about Falchuk, she revealed that he and his ex-wife still get along and have regular family time, even after their divorce. Paltrow and Martin are famous for doing the same.

“[Brad] has his own version of it, his own family where it’s not a couple but it’s a family,” Paltrow explained.
