Meghan Markle Is Officially a Part of Prince Harry’s Royal Squad

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren’t engaged yet, so there’s still a sliver of hope that the world’s cutest prince will stay on the market — even if it’s tiny. That hope does seem to be shrinking though. Harry and Markle are together all the time, and headlines keep dropping talking about how serious they are. Ugh.

Like right now, they’re in Jamaica together to attend Harry’s best friend’s wedding. All of Harry’s friends are there, so him inviting Markle basically means he’s making her part of the crew. Markle “kept it secret,” a source told Us Weekly, but she is officially part of the squad.

That same insider adds that they’re closer than ever, and Harry’s BFF’s wedding isn’t the only one they’re thinking about.

“They will be engaged by the end of summer,” the source said, adding that they “have spoken candidly about their future,” and “they see a life together.” Insert super-sad face here.

According to Us Weekly, the biggest hurdle they still have to overcome is the fact that Markle is based in Toronto, where she films Suits, and Harry obviously can’t uproot from London. Long-distance relationships are tricky, so maybe that will break them up.

Nah, probably not, because nothing is good in the world. Sources told Us Weekly that Markle spends all her time off the set of Suits in London, where she’s basically moved into Harry’s place. Once the show wraps this summer, she’s reportedly planning to make the move permanent.

“Meghan feels a move to London is inevitable,” another insider said. “It’s not like Harry can uproot!”

Also, even though they live apart, they keep taking romantic trips together. Before Jamaica, they went to Norway to see the Northern Lights. (Insert eye roll here.)

If Harry is about to be off the market, we demand a new prince to replace him. A world with no single royals is not a world I want to live in.
