Twitter Fixes Donald Trump’s #InternationalWomensDay Tweet for Him

It’s International Women’s Day, and President Donald Trump — showing a lack or foresight or critical thought — decided this was a good time for a tweet.

“I have tremendous respect for women and the many roles they serve that are vital to the fabric of our society and our economy,” he wrote. “On International Women’s Day, join me in honoring the critical role of women here in America & around the world.”

Oh boy.

Good thing we have the internet to point out the irony that’s smacking all of us in our faces, yet completely escaping the president.

Even Rosie O’Donnell weighed in.

Bear in mind that Trump thought it appropriate to tweet this on the exact day that women all over the country are on strike, protesting against him and his policies that directly harm women.
