Chad Michael Murray Beams With Pride Talking About His Newborn Daughter

It’s time to get out the celebratory Champagne because your not-so-secret crush of the ’00s, Chad Michael Murray, is now a father of two.

Murray welcomed a daughter with his wife, actor Sarah Roemer, late Monday night. Murray posted an adorable photo to his Instagram in the wee hours of Monday morning where he opened up with pride and joy at the newest addition to his family.

Murray captioned a photo of his newborn daughter gripping his finger, “Don’t worry little girl you can hold on as tight as you want for as long as you want, I’m already yours & I’ll never let go. I’ve now two incredible women in my life. My son & I are two lucky guys.” I don’t know what’s cuter. Murray and his daughter sharing a precious moment or the caption accompanying it.

The couple has yet to announce the name of their newborn daughter, although we are unlikely to learn her name anytime soon. Both Murray and Roemer have remained quite mum on the topic of their children, choosing to preserve the children’s privacy rather than expose them to the incredibly public world their parents live in. We, the fans and general public, have yet to learn the name of Murray and Roemer’s young son, who will turn 2 this June.

On Friday, Murray made an appearance on Live with Kelly and talked about life as a father of two: “Now I’m just taking on 100 percent of the boy’s responsibilities, and she’s [Roemer] taking care of the daughter at the moment. It’s the greatest thing in the world.”

Murray, it would appear, has always loved fatherhood. When he spoke to Entertainment Tonight in June 2016, he revealed that becoming a father has changed his life for the better. “For me, it was the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me. Having kids is a game changer, and I think you’re always walking around with the mentality that you want to make sure that they’re proud and you want to represent them well and just be a great leader,” Murray remarked. With an attitude like that, there’s absolutely no doubt in my mind that Murray has secured his best role to date: doting dad.

Congratulations are definitely in order for the Murray-Roemer family.
