Bethenny Frankel‘s ex, Jason Hoppy, is gearing up to go to court — again.
The former couple already had a long, contentious divorce that they settled last year. But since then, Frankel has accused Hoppy of stalking and harassing her, and he just turned down a plea deal, indicating that he wants to fight her allegations in front of a jury.

In the deal that prosecutors offered Hoppy, he could have pleaded to just a harassment charge as a violation in exchange for completing an anger management course. Through his attorney, Alex Spiro, he refused the deal. The judge overseeing the case, Abena Darkeh, set a court date of April 26 and ordered Hoppy not to have any contact with Frankel between now and then.
According to complaints filed by Frankel, Hoppy has sent her alarming and threatening texts and emails since November. He was arrested in late January when he showed up unannounced and confronted Frankel and her boyfriend at their daughter’s school.
According to the complaint, Hoppy told Frankel, “You can play your game. It doesn’t matter. You can get 10 lawyers. There’s nothing you can do to stop me. You’ll be sorry. You’ve been warned.”
He then allegedly turned to Frankel’s boyfriend and told him, “She’s pure evil. You’ve been warned.”

Court papers also say Hoppy sent Frankel about 160 emails between November and when he was arrested on Jan. 27.
Hoppy and Frankel married during a TV special in 2010. They split two years later and then spent nearly four years settling their divorce. They kept the terms of their divorce private, but Frankel revealed later the mixed emotions she felt when Hoppy finally moved out of the Tribeca apartment they had shared.
“I walked in and it just washed over me. I sobbed for hours. It was like this release,” she said on her SiriusXM show, B Real with Bethenny. “And you always think things are going to be one way. I thought it was going to be, like, the biggest party ever. I’d be roller skating through there with my top off, my tits hanging out, so excited and there’s nothing good about any of it. It was all just remembering moving in there. It was a hideous experience, and I just didn’t know how to even process the feeling.”
