Amanda Seyfried Is Very On-Trend Right Now by Secretly Marrying Thomas Sadoski

Did every celebrity who is currently engaged have a private meeting about having secret weddings, or am I missing something?

It was announced on The Late Late Show With James Corden late Thursday night that Newsroom actor Thomas Sadoski secretly married Amanda Seyfried recently. Apparently, the latest hot trend in Hollywood is to have a secret wedding, which is cool and everything, but guys, remember to take pictures so I can indulge, OK? This is rather exciting news, though, because not only have Sadoski and Seyfried had a long engagement, Seyfried is also pregnant with her first child with Sadoski.

As Sadoski was settling in to chat, host James Corden began his first question with a line about Seyfried. As Corden appeared to search for the word “fiancé,” Sadoski both surprised him and beat him to the punch by holding up his hand and saying, “My wife.” Corden was adorably stunned and then asked Sadoski how it came about.

“We eloped…we just took off into the country with an officiant and just the two of us, and we did our thing… We had a great day. It was perfect.” Sadoski then described how the pair had an incredibly intimate ceremony and, afterward, took their dog for a long walk in the countryside before going out to dinner. I mean, this sounds like a low-key wedding dream, and I’m really here for it. The best part, though, had to have been when Sadoski just couldn’t stop gushing about his new wife. “Listen, she’s the person I love, admire, respect most in the world.” You guys!

Happily, the newlyweds will become parents soon, as Seyfried is now quite close to giving birth. The pair began dating after working together on The Last Word in 2016 and quickly announced their engagement last September. Shortly after their engagement announcement, Seyfried announced she was pregnant.
