You ready to hear about what Brad Pitt‘s been up to? It’s a real doozy.
According to E!, he’s been working on a sculpture. Not even kidding. (That is, if they aren’t trolling us all.)
Maybe it’s because I just saw Beauty and the Beast this weekend, but the idea of Brad Pitt sitting in some mansion somewhere in Los Angeles, holed up while he works on a sculpture and listens to sad music just has me picturing Pitt hunched over some vase, singing about what could have been. It’s an incredibly sad image, trust me.

I’m not saying Pitt isn’t heartbroken over his divorce, but this seems to be a far cry from the man who was just at the Golden Globes a few weeks back looking good on stage and talking about Moonlight.
So what’s real? The man in front of the cameras or the man of rumors behind the lens?

Can the answer be all of the above? Because I would imagine, just like with anything in life, Pitt’s divorce has been full of highs and lows. Admittedly, probably more lows. But that appearance at the Golden Globes was more than just a “Hey, see, I’m still hot” moment. It was also an “I will get through this” appearance. Pitt received a standing ovation, which is a clear sign Hollywood has still got his back.
Look, I think if Pitt needs to show up at the Golden Globes looking classy and great just to feel good about himself for a moment, then fine. And if he needs a good cry in front of a sculpture he toils over for hours while listening to some Adele, then more power to him.
You let those tears out, Brad Pitt, you let them out.
