VPR‘s Scheana and Shay Already Went Back on Their BFF Promise

We’ve been hearing rumors for months. But now, we’re finally going to get an inside look at how nasty things have gotten between Vanderpump Rules‘ Scheana and Mike Shay.

The couple, who got married on the show in July 2014, announced their divorce in November after months of headlines speculating that they were headed for a split. At the time, they released a statement about how they planned on keeping things civil during their divorce and even planned to stay friends afterward.

“We might have failed at our marriage, but we are committed to succeeding as friends and will continue to support each other’s personal happiness and professional success,” their joint statement read.

But teasers for the VPR reunion special paint a completely different picture. The first footage released for the three-part reunion, which begins airing Monday, April 3, shows that things are far from friendly between the former spouses.

I caught him texting another girl,” Scheana says in the teaser video. Shay fires back, “I can’t even look at you right now.”

While that exchange could be chalked up to creative editing, there’s definitive proof that Scheana and Shay have given up on having a friendship, at least for the time being.

“I haven’t seen him since we filmed,” Scheana explains to Lisa Vanderpump in the video. “I think he’s going to be way more uncomfortable than I’m going to feel. I have a room full of support and friends.”

Since their split, Scheana has definitely moved on — she has a new boyfriend. Since the beginning of the year, she’s been dating Robert Valletta, brother of actress Amber Valletta, who has been friends with Scheana for 10 years.
