AJ McLean Reportedly Celebrated His Daughter’s Birth With Women, but Not His Wife

AJ McLean really went hard celebrating the birth of his second baby — by hitting the bar and hitting on women.

According to In Touch Weekly, the former Backstreet Boy headed for Los Angeles hotspot Riviera 31 inside the Sofitel Hotel, which is across the street from the hospital where his wife had given birth just hours earlier.

McLean’s wife, Rochelle, gave birth to their second baby, a girl named Lyric, at 5:10 p.m. Onlookers say McLean rolled into the bar in the early morning hours.

“He showed up around 1 a.m. and it just happened to be Russian karaoke night,” one eyewitness said. Video shows that McLean sang his own old hit, “I Want It That Way,” at karaoke.

Hitting the bar to celebrate the birth of his daughter isn’t the worst thing McLean could do, even though he definitely should have been at the hospital with his wife. But onlookers say things only went downhill from there.

“He was being incredibly inappropriate. He exchanged numbers with at least three girls and even offered one tickets to his Vegas show,” one witness said, adding that he even “asked a few of the girls to send him a sexy, nude photo so that he could use it as their contact image in his phone.”

The onlooker added, “No one could believe he was acting like this with his wife across the street at the hospital with their newborn baby.”

It’s no secret that McLean is a recovering alcoholic — he went to rehab for treatment in 2001, 2002 and 2011, and publicly admitted it in 2012 after his first daughter was born. Witnesses at the bar say he was drinking whiskey and beer.

McLean’s rep declined to comment.
