Pulling a move out of the Beyoncé playbook, the ACMs turned up the heat and the surprise factor when Florida Georgia Line brought out the Backstreet Boys to perform with them during the last performance of the evening. Needless to say, the crowd went wild. Wild, I tell you! But hello, this is BSB, so of course there’s going to be a ton of OMG.

The Backstreet Boys came out during Florida Georgia Line‘s performance of their hit song, “God, Your Mama, and Me” to duet a little and then, out of nowhere, drop the mic (metaphorically) by performing the evergreen hit, “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).” Tim McGraw flipped his cowboy hat-shaped lid when he saw the Backstreet Boys take the stage. Carrie Underwood couldn’t stop singing along. Can you blame them? This, my friends, was truly the surprise of the evening.

While it may seem like an unconventional duet, the Backstreet Boys and Florida Georgia Line actually worked super-well together. Like, to the point that I might low-key be waiting for a collaborative album to come out in the near future. I mean, the Florida Georgia Line guys really stepped up their game by learning the “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” dance and, no joke, a little country vibe looks nice on the Backstreet Boys. Make it happen, guys. We need more ASAP.
