Eileen Davidson Is Hoping for a RHOBH Reunion on Y&R

Erika Girardi is all over television these days. In addition to her time as a cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she’s enjoying a stint on Season 24 of Dancing With the Stars. Will a recurring role on The Young and the Restless be next?

Soap fans already know that Girardi made her debut on the CBS soap back in December as Farrah Dubose, a high-powered real estate agent who runs into Eileen Davidson’s character, Ashley Abbott, at a coffee shop. The role was a gift from Davidson for Girardi’s 45th birthday with one catch — she had to audition for the role for Y&R producers.

Her turn on the show was a hit, and Davidson is angling to get her pal back on Y&R. In a recent TooFab.com interview, Davidson shared her thoughts on getting her RHOBH co-star back to Genoa City.

“As soon as she aired on the show in December, I called upstairs and said I’d love her to come back, but I don’t have that kind of power,” she explained. “They need to make sure it works in.”

Davidson wasn’t the only one who thought Girardi did a great job. Legendary soap actor Peter Bergman had high praise for her as well.

“I got a text from Peter Bergman, saying, ‘Your friend Erika was prepared, interesting, interested, so incredibly lovely to work with,'” Davidson shared. “And this is from a guy who doesn’t watch The Housewives, doesn’t know from Adam, and he just thought she was terrific.”

That news probably excited Girardi because she’s a fan of Bergman’s work.

“And the greatest thing about it — and I was talking to Erika about it yesterday — Peter Bergman was on All My Children, and she was a huge All My Children fan,” Davidson said. “He was one of the biggest characters on that show. And she was so nervous about it, basically working with one of her childhood icons, so that’s pretty cool.”

For now, RHOBH fans will have to settle for watching Girardi battle it out for the mirror ball trophy with partner Gleb Savchenko on DWTS. They haven’t been at the top of the leaderboard yet, but she’s still in the fight.

If not, perhaps The Young and the Restless can find a reason for Girardi to stop by Genoa City again.
