Being a princess is hard work — work that leaves no room for side projects like lifestyle websites. That’s why it’s so damn telling that Meghan Markle just shut hers down after three years of successful operation.

The home page of Markle’s site, The Tig, is now just a collection of photos and a note to her supporters that reads, “After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it’s time to say goodbye to The Tig. What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity. You’ve made my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy. Keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks, and keep being ‘the change you wish to see in the world.'”
She also put farewell posts on both her personal Instagram and The Tig‘s Instagram.

This is pretty much proof of what we already heavily suspected was coming: Markle and Prince Harry are going to get engaged. It’s probably time to start taking bets on exactly when he’s going to pop the question, because it’s gonna be soon. Why else would she be clearing her schedule? Gotta make room for all those princess duties.
Markle is still acting on Suits, but rumors now swirling are saying that she’s leaving the show after the current season wraps filming. It wouldn’t be a surprise after The Tig shut down. She clearly has a new set of royal priorities.
