That’s right — fresh on the heels of retiring from auto racing after the current season of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, Earnhardt plans to fill up his schedule with home improvement projects and filming his new show. He will be aided by his interior designer wife, Amy Reimann Earnhardt, who previously worked with Wakefield Beasley & Associates in Atlanta. Their relationship began as a professional one but quickly blossomed into romance.
While chatting about his big new project, Earnhardt explained, “We love DIY projects around the house, so I expect this to be challenging but fun.” He also raved about his wife’s “creative ideas and strong work ethic.”

In their new series, the Earnhardts will work on a home located in Key West’s Old Town district. Their goal is to take the property from dilapidated digs to seaside escape. They’ll face numerous roadblocks on the way, however, including outdated wiring and plumbing.
DIY Network’s senior vice president can’t wait for the new series. He explains, “We’re confident that with Amy’s help [Earnhardt] will easily navigate the typical trials and tribulations of a home renovation. Fasten your seat belts because this one is sure to be a thrilling, unpredictable ride.”
