OK, E! is doing its best to save a sinking ship. The ratings for Keeping Up With the Kardashians have been tanking, so the network is working hard to market the most popular Jenner in the family, Kylie.

Her new show, Life of Kylie, is coming our way July 6, whether we like it or not. On Thursday, Jenner teased her new show and revealed that she’s a woman of mystery. If you think you know her, think again.
Seriously, what do we really need to know about the reality star that will enrich our lives? Her successful lip kit line is about as deep as I go. It also looks to be about as deep as her show is going to go, too.
In the promo, she says, “When you grow up on camera, everybody feels like they know you. But they don’t.”

I think most rational people understand that. Jenner’s life has been chronicled by the tabloids and the paparazzi, but I don’t pretend to know what she eats for breakfast. Could that be the big secret she will share in her new show?
“Nobody has a perfect life,” she continues. “Now I can find what’s really going to make me happy.”
See, here’s where she starts to really lose me. If I knew Jenner was on a deep soul-searching mission, I would buy it. But I know the show is going to give me scenes of her traveling, eating out at fancy restaurants and picking her next lip kit color. It’s going to be the millennial version of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

“There’s an image that I have to keep up with,” Jenner concludes. “And then there’s me, Kylie.”
While I am sure she’s less guarded around her family and friends. I don’t get the sense that this spinoff is really going to teach me anything new. Do I even need to watch? Maybe just one episode.
