According to E! News, Brayden was being watched by a nanny when he fell into the pool. No details are available saying how he managed to fall in or whether the accident happened at home or somewhere else.

A source close to the family told E! that Brayden was fine, even though his fall was a scary experience for Christina El Moussa, who took Brayden to a local hospital after it happened.

“Thankfully all is fine and Brayden is doing great,” the insider said. “He’s his happy, healthy self and Christina was being overly cautious by taking him to the hospital to be checked out.”

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, two children aged 14 or under die from unintentional drowning each day in the United States. Drowning is the fifth-leading cause of accidental injury death in the country. The CDC recommends protecting children by installing fencing that completely surrounds pools and keeping toys away from the sides of pools so children aren’t tempted to go near the water without supervision.
