If you’ve ever looked at some life advice from Gwyneth Paltrow‘s lifestyle site Goop and rolled your eyes (steam-cleaning your vagina, anyone?), you’re not alone. Recently, Paltrow admitted to Jimmy Kimmel she doesn’t know what Goop‘s advice is about half the time, just like the rest of the world.

Paltrow appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, where he had some of the same questions we’ve had about some of Goop‘s more out-there ideas. Here’s the big news that was revealed: Not only does Paltrow not read everything on Goop, but she thinks some of that advice is super-extra.
One of the first things Kimmel asked about was “Earthing,” or the practice of walking barefoot to cure insomnia because apparently if you can’t sleep, it’s because you’ve lost your physical connection with the earth or something? To Kimmel’s question, Paltrow replied that she “actually doesn’t know that much about Earthing,” adding that, “[t]hey say that we’ve lost touch with being barefoot in the Earth and there’s some type of electromagnetic thing that we’re missing, so it’s good to take your shoes off and walk in the grass.” She then laughed and finally admitted, “I don’t know what the fuck we talk about.”
There it is, ladies and gentleman. Straight from the mouth of the Goop queen herself.
When Kimmel asked her, “So sometimes there are things that you go, ‘Oh, that seems a bit much?'” she responded, “Oh yeah, for sure! Yeah.”
