One of the most heartbreaking storylines in all of The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s 11 seasons was the estrangement between Tamra Judge and her oldest daughter, Sydney, after Judge’s divorce from Sydney’s dad, Simon Barney.

As much as Judge has tried to keep her relationship with Sydney off the show, it’s still leaked in — obviously, because it’s such a huge part of both their lives — and Judge’s heartbreak has been so apparent to viewers. At one point, Judge admitted during a RHOC reunion show that she and Sydney hadn’t spoken in two years. With tears in her eyes, Judge explained that she still sent a weekly text to Sydney, letting her know the door was always open to rekindling a relationship.
It apparently worked. Sydney graduated this week, and pictures from the event show Judge, Sydney and the rest of the family all together.

From the sound of the caption, Judge has mended her relationship with more than just Sydney. It sounds like she and Barney may have worked out some of the vitriol viewers saw both before and after their split.
“So many things to be proud of this month. Our family has come a long way and I couldn’t be happier. Simon and I are so proud of these amazing, smart, funny, beautiful & crazy kids. Congrats Sidney,” Judge wrote. “Your smile lightens up the room and your future is so bright.”
Barney also shared some photos, congratulating Sydney and the other graduates in her class.
