Charles’ next role will be as Dr. Jerome Oziel, the controversial psychiatrist in the case of the Menendez siblings, who were famously convicted of killing their parents in 1996. It’s all part of Law & Order: SVU producer Dick Wolf’s new project: an anthology series on NBC called Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders.

In the real-life case, Oziel played a pivotal role in the brothers’ case and conviction. The eight-episode anthology will focus on the brothers’ backstory before they were sentenced to life in prison for the killings.
