The Bachelor spinoff Bachelor in Paradise has always been a fun mess of a show, with drunken night after drunken night of Bach losers hooking up with each other on an island. But the show’s production was recently halted by Warner Bros. Television after Olympios and two members of production filed lawsuits against the show’s production staff for misconduct.

The cases were recently closed and settled, and in the first statement since Olympios said, “I am a victim,” she has announced that she will not be returning to filming. “My team’s investigation into this matter has now been completed to my satisfaction,” the star said via her publicist. “I am also happy about the changes that have been made to the production of Bachelor in Paradise. While I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to have been a participant on The Bachelor, and while I was invited to return to Bachelor in Paradise when production resumed, I respectfully made the decision not to return.”
Olympios’ attorney Marty Singer spoke out as well, saying, “It comes as no surprise that Warner Bros., as a result of its own internal investigation, would state that no wrongdoing occurred.” This comes after the settlement of external investigations that Warner Bros. did indeed shut down its own investigation after finding no issues with the footage and incident in question.

The changes in production that Olympios mentions in her statement include “more clarification and education of the rules that were already in place… to enhance and further ensure the safety and security of all participants.”
There is no word if the other party involved in the investigation, DeMario Jackson, will be returning to BIP, but the franchise has stated that it is “always open to possibilities of anyone coming back.”
