This week, Woods targeted a couple that just wanted to support their young son and celebrate LBGTQ pride. The family posted a photo with their son, who was decked out in rainbows and colorful garb for a pride event. Mom and Dad stood proudly at either side of him, holding signs that read, “I [heart] my gender creative son,” and “My son wears dresses and makeup… get over it!” respectively.

Woods, who is no stranger to making inflammatory remarks, tweeted out a copy of the photo. With it, he popped in this ever-so-charming caption: “This is sweet. Wait until this poor kid grows up, realizes what you’ve done, and stuffs both of you dismembered into a freezer in the garage.”

Yeah. He really said that.
Harris was quick to step in, though. Apparently, he’s close to the family in the photo, and a remark like that wasn’t going to fly. “Utterly ignorant and classless, Mr. Woods,” he wrote. “I’m friends with this family. You know not of what you speak, and should be ashamed of yourself.”

The boy’s mother, Lori Duron, wrote in a blog post about how proud she is of her son. “My sweet, fabulous, rainbow boy has never received so many compliments,” she wrote. “He’s used to getting stares and whispers when we’re out in public. He’s not used to getting the smiles, hugs and encouragement he received at Pride.”
