As if tonight’s episode of Game of Thrones didn’t have enough oh-shit moments, Twitter has continued the jaw-drop by making some pretty poignant comparisons between Cersei and Donald Trump.

Remember how I said last week’s episode of Game of Thrones was a slow burn? Episode 2 was decidedly not. The war is on, and it is going to be a rollercoaster of a ride. Not only is Game of Thrones one of the most compelling stories ever, but the fact that the show can make such real-world comparisons so effortlessly means its place in history is guaranteed. And if anything, those relevant political connections mean that this show can draw in all kinds of viewers and maybe even teach us a thing or two.
