Celebrities Show Support for Transgender Americans Serving in the Military

On Wednesday morning, Donald Trump made the divisive decision to announce that transgender individuals would be barred from serving in the U.S. military in any capacity. And not surprisingly, the revelation has since been met with outspoken criticism by many.

“Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail,” Trump said in a series of tweets.
