The show, which follows the early years of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign, will be moving from England’s exit from World War II into the ’60s during Season 2, and y’all know what that means: John F. Kennedy (played by Michael C. Hall) and Jackie Onassis Kennedy (played by Jodi Balfour) will be visiting the palace — and you can catch glimpses of them in the new trailer.

The trailer also alludes to the scandals in both the queen’s personal and professional lives during that time. Prime minister after prime minister kept resigning, her sister Margaret became the center of a paparazzi campaign and her husband, Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, left the palace for long stretches of time, traveling to Hawaii and Antarctica.

“I’ve learned more about humiliation in the past few weeks than I hoped I would in a lifetime,” Elizabeth says in the trailer, adding a few moments later, “I’ve been queen barely 10 years, and in that time, I’ve had three prime ministers. Not one has lasted the course.”

Season 2 will also introduce a few new characters to the show: Prince Andrew, born in 1960, and Prince Edward, born in 1964.

The Crown has been a big success for Netflix — Season 2 comes on the heels of 10 Emmy nominations for the show, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actress for Claire Foy, who plays Elizabeth II.
