She wrote: “Birthday wishes to the love of my life, the one person who showed me what passion truly was, the one that gave me solid morals to live by and how to dream,” she wrote. “I will never feel love again the way I did with you. you are always with me and I am always with you. though I am not you, and you are not me, I know with all of my being that we are one. and our souls will never change in that way. Thank you for the magic, forever and always.”

Unbelievably, Jackson had to turn off comments on the post after trolls started attacking her in the comments section, saying her father would have been disappointed in her. Seriously, why do people have to stoop so low?
On Twitter, Jackson addressed the haters, writing, “oh he’d be disappointed in me? for my activism n positive messages? hunty [sic] you da one nonstop saying the most vile, hateful, fucked up things.”

Regardless of anything that’s ever happened to her, it’s fair to say that Jackson’s father would not be disappointed in her. She’s a strong woman, and she doesn’t deserve this kind of hate, nor does her father.
