It is absolutely no secret that there’s probably a royal wedding coming right up. Right now, we’re all just waiting for the official announcement to tell us that Prince Harry and his girlfriend of over a year, Meghan Markle, are ready to head down the aisle.

But in the meantime, more and more confirmation that they’re the real deal just keeps coming. In the most recent news, the couple apparently had a secret tea party with Queen Elizabeth, allowing her and Markle to spend some time together since she’ll have to give Harry, the fifth in line for Britain’s royal throne, permission before he can wed.

There are rumors that it wasn’t the first time Markle has met the queen, but it could be the first time they got significant face time together. Reports say the queen hosted Harry and Markle for tea in her own private sitting room on the first floor of Kensington Palace, just two days after she returned from a long holiday at the family’s estate in Scotland. Oh, and those reports also say the queen fully approves of Markle, but why wouldn’t she? The Suits actor is a delight.
Markle has also already met many other members of the royal family, including Harry’s father and stepmother and Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, the former Kate Middleton. They’ve all reportedly given the thumbs up, so it’s really just a matter of time before actor Meghan Markle becomes a royal wife.

As for the wedding? Since William and Kate are expecting another baby in April and Harry won’t want to overshadow the new arrival to the family, the soonest we can expect a royal wedding is probably next summer.
