Buckle up, fans, because it’s coming whether we’re ready for it or not. Talking to reporters at Zac Posen’s birthday fundraiser for Mothers2Mothers and The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation Tuesday, Stamos dropped another bomb: He and McHugh are for sure planning to become parents.
Talking about the romantic Disneyland proposal he planned, Stamos admitted, “I was sort of done with Disney. I was like, ‘I’ll wait until I have some kids…'”
That prompted reporters to ask him to clarify whether he was saying he and McHugh are planning to have kids, to which he replied, “Yeah, that’s certainly the plan.”

He continued, “It’s been a long time and I’ve always been pretty vocal about wanting a family and wanting to be married, and everyone is like, ‘Why can’t you? You can do it.’ The truth is I just wasn’t the best me and I wasn’t going to attract someone like Caitlin. I had to work on myself and put in some time, and I know my mother would have been really happy with that, and this beauty just came into my life. But it took time for me to really be the best person I could be.”
Um, we’ll just give you a minute to finish swooning over how dang sweet that is. Take your time. We swooned too.
“I waited a really long time and she is perfect,” Stamos gushed about his bride-to-be. “I mean, I don’t deserve her, by any means.”
