Mariah Carey just dropped her new holiday single, “The Star.” The ballad will be included in the animated feature of the same name, which will be released on Nov. 17.

The song is definitely perfect for Christmas, with heartwarming lyrics like, “Shining bright, the spirit of love at your side. And when the door won’t welcome you, Heaven will help you inside… Follow that star above you should the world try to break you down. There is one who waits for you, but you can’t see Him now.”

Though the song might not reach the epic proportions of Carey’s 1994, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” this new single definitely has its place in bringing Christmas cheer to 2017. And it surely has a special place in Carey’s heart since her twins, Monroe and Moroccan Cannon, also make a guest appearance on the track lending their adorable little voices as backup to Carey’s melodic voice.
