If you’re still in holiday mode, this must-see clip is for you. In case you missed it at the time, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban both gave Andy Cohen some serious (and well-deserved) shade on New Year’s Eve, and the video is making my salty heart sing.

It all started when Cohen was interviewing Kidman and Urban. Anderson Cooper, bless his heart, captured the entire exchange and tweeted it for the viewing pleasure of those of us who missed it on live TV.
Cohen chose to ask Kidman about that famous clip of her clapping at the Oscars last year and how she reacted to the giant meme it became. Why? We may never know. The clip had its moment in pop culture, but it’s decidedly over, so we honestly don’t know what compelled Cohen to bring it up. Neither do Kidman and Urban, clearly, based on their reactions.

First, Urban massively rolls his eyes. “Answer that one, baby girl,” he says to Kidman, obviously knowing she has some massive shade saved for just this kind of a moment up her sleeve.
“I wish that there was more important things to be concerned about or that people were more focused on than that sort of clapping. That’s what I would say,” she answered, showing more grace (combined with shade) than 99.9 percent of the human population would have in that situation.
But, as you can see in the clip, it’s her face that really makes it. All throughout her answer, Kidman rolls her eyes and looks so massively over this. As she should be. That clapping thing is so 2017.
