It’s been a tough road for Marcil and her fiancé, whom she only refers to as “MC” publicly, as Marcil has struggled to conceive for quite some time. To date, she’s disclosed that she has suffered six heartbreaking miscarriages before conceiving what now appears to be a girl. What happy news!

On Tuesday, Jan. 9, Marcil showed off her bump while one of her tiny puppies, Rocky, snuggled right into her. “The GIRLS,” Marcil wrote without any further description. This is the first time Marcil seems to have mentioned any kind of sex in relation to her baby, so it’s exciting to know that after all this time, she will finally have a little girl.

The actor has been documenting her journey to motherhood regularly on her Instagram and kicked it off with this photo back in December 2017. “It’s baby time. After 6 miscarriages we are saying prayers for [our precious miracle],” Marcil wrote to caption the photo, which shows her getting a kiss on the cheek from MC.

This child will be Marcil’s second child and the first she has had with MC, to whom she has been engaged since August 2015. She has a son, 15-year-old Kassius Lijah, with her former Beverly Hills, 90210 costar Brian Austin Green.
