Did Stranger Things‘ David Harbour learn nothing about the internet when he had to pose in some goofy-looking senior photos because he lost a bet on Twitter? He told a fan he would do it for 25,000 retweets, and obviously that happened, because the internet did what the internet does. And now, almost immediately, Harbour turned around and did basically the same thing, proving he will do absolutely anything for enough retweets.

Earlier this week, a fan tweeted at Harbour after apparently seeing the senior photo challenge, asking what it would take to get Harbour to officiate her upcoming wedding.
What would it take to get @DavidKHarbour to be the Officiant at my wedding in September?!

He then saw it and replied, setting his terms.
125k retweets. Provided date works with s3 shooting schedule, I will get ordained and perform ceremony. I get to read an esteemed love letter of my choosing, and after the cake is officially cut, I get the very first piece. #allthecakeshttps://t.co/rSku8qD7uT

“125k retweets,” he wrote. “Provided date works with [Stranger Things] s3 shooting schedule, I will get ordained and perform ceremony. I get to read an esteemed love letter of my choosing, and after the cake is officially cut, I get the very first piece. #allthecakes.”

Does Harbour not realize that asking the internet for 125,000 retweets is essentially nothing? It took less than a day for the tweet to hit that target, because of course it did. When you set such amazing terms as the ones Harbour laid down, the demands will be met. That’s just science.
Dammit. Not even 24hours. You’re kidding me. @ErickaElizabth DM me please to get the ball rolling. I’m making it seriously hard next time, internet, this is not over between us… https://t.co/Ht0kDCl5hz

“Dammit. Not even 24hours. You’re kidding me. @ErickaElizabth DM me please to get the ball rolling. I’m making it seriously hard next time, internet, this is not over between us…” Harbour wrote in a follow-up tweet.

So, what’s the next challenge going to be? Let’s make it something really good this time, internet, because we already know Harbour seriously underestimates our retweet potential.
