If bachelorette road trips like the one Mandy Moore recently took with her besties aren’t in my future, I may have to find a new group of friends. I’m kidding, of course, but Moore’s weekend trip through Northern California with her pals is currently inspiring my next vacation. Moore is celebrating her last days as an unmarried (albeit happily engaged) woman before meeting her fiancé, musician Taylor Goldsmith, at the altar; this bachelorette party looks like the perfect way to do that. Every detail of this trip, from the color-coordinated outfits to the friendship necklaces, is utter perfection, and we need to ogle every last detail together.

Where was Moore’s bachelorette party?
According to Moore’s Instagram, she hit up a number of different spots with her best-friend squad. While there were surely multiple cars full of friends making up a bachelorette party caravan, Moore documented her ride with friends Ashley Streicher, Jenn Streicher and Chase Weideman as everyone headed to a spa in Antelope Valley to kick off their trip.
On Friday, April 13, she posted updates to her Instagram Story of a portion of her trip, which Instagram fan account thismandymoore compiled into an actual Instagram post. It’s a delightful set of videos, and you’ll likely find yourself smiling as you watch them. You get a feel for the amount of planning that went into bringing this bachelorette weekend to life and just how much fun Moore and her friends had every step of the way.

Moore and her friends also used the hashtag #MooreSunset to chronicle the trip, which took them to California locations Antelope Valley and Carmel, with some stops along the way for photo ops before ending with a big celebration in Big Sur. Not gonna lie: This trip looks amazing based on the destinations alone.

What happened on this trip?
To accompany Moore and crew on their trip, one of her pals made snack gift bags for the car as well as little keepsakes to remember the trip. One of those keepsakes was a bubble necklace featuring photos of Moore throughout the years. Those necklaces were hung from the rearview mirror of the car as they drove and were likely donned at some point during the celebratory trip.

Moore’s Instagram Stories pointed to typical road-trip activities: stopping for coffee at the gas station, playing word games in the car, getting lost at least once and sharing lots of laughs. She talks about poolside chats, walks in a redwood forest, food and wine in her Instagram post — all of which we are so here for. When did this bachelorette road trip happen?
Moore’s bachelorette weekend came several months after she confirmed her engagement. We don’t know much about how they met because the couple is super-low-key about their relationship, but they are one ridiculously cute couple.

In November 2017, Moore told SheKnows, “I wouldn’t have been ready for this relationship [with Goldsmith] at any other point in my life until recently. I had a lot of work to do on myself. It sounds so self-help-y and silver lining, but I had to go through particular experiences to get myself here,” Moore explained. “I don’t regret anything. I would do things exactly the same way. It’s all a lesson and there were beautiful moments in it, but I had to go through this crazy trail to find my way to where I am now.”
