Former Game of Thronescostars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie made their on-screen romance IRL-official in 2017 and got engaged in a super-sweet way. Now, they’re getting closer to their top-secret ceremony, and apparently, they’re giving at least one nod to the HBO series that brought them together.

The Daily Mail reports that the couple sent out 200 wedding invitations bearing a familiar face on the stamps: Harington’s. The couple reportedly used Jon Snow-themed stamps from a special Game of Thrones stamp collection released earlier in 2018 through the Royal Mail.
Here’s the catch: the Jon Snow stamp appears to only be available in books with nine other characters. If his face is on every invitation, then someone definitely thought this through before committing… and spent a ton of money on stamps to make it happen.
A source close to the couple said, “They organized the wedding quickly because they didn’t want information to leak. But putting Kit’s face on the envelope might be a bit of a giveaway, at least for postmen across the country.”
It definitely seems like a strange move since Daily Mail reports that the couple is very concerned dedicated Thrones fans might appear at their upcoming nuptials. Harington and Leslie have been keeping things heavily under wraps and have requested that invited guests not reveal anything in order to keep key details from fans.

The secrecy possibly puts some things into perspective. Leslie told in January, “I’m trying to fit in my wedding. I haven’t tackled it. There’s just too much to do.” Maybe she was deflecting attention?
In October, Harington went on The Jonathan Ross Show and said that although the entire Game of Thrones cast will be invited, the wedding won’t be Thrones themed… except, apparently, for the invites. “I rang [a producer] up and I said, ‘I’m getting married and it’s your fault actually.'” He added, “I think for the final season he is so stressed that he’s reached that peaceful level. I was like, ‘You need to factor in a Game of Thrones wedding by the way.’ They [the cast] have all got to be there so the whole thing has got to shut down.”
Harington and Leslie announced their engagement in London-based newspaper The Times in September 2017. There’s no word on a wedding date as of today, but we’re dying to know.
