Jessica Simpson’s Daughter’s 6th Birthday Party Was Literally ‘Over the Top’

Jessica Simpson is a master party planner, and her kids definitely get the coolest theme parties ever. After recreating the Isle of Te Fiti from Disney’s Moana for son Ace Knute’s fourth birthdaySimpson and Eric Johnson gave their daughter, Maxwell (“Maxi”), an epic sixth birthday party. To celebrate Maxi’s big day, Simpson and Johnson helped recreate the hit movie musical The Greatest Showman, and according to Us Weekly, the party was totally over the top.

Simpson and Johnson went all out for Maxi’s party, with a huge, colorful circus tent and various circus entertainers, from acrobats to unicyclists to jugglers. In the background of one Instagram photo, which shows Simpson alongside some of the circus performers, a poster reads, “MAXWELL CAN FLY! SHE CAN REALLY SWING TOO!” The poster shows Simpson’s daughter on a swing and is made to look like old-school circus advertisements, which is so perfect for the theme.

In a family photo of Simpson, Johnson, Maxi and Ace Knute under the “big top,” Maxi is sporting the purple leotard and pink hair that makes her a perfect match to one of the characters from The Greatest Showman, Anne Wheeler — she’s even perfected Anne’s signature pose.

Simpson also shared a photo with just herself and Johnson in which the two are posed to look like she’s swinging from a trapeze and he’s swinging from her hands. Simpson’s outfit matches the decor, and are we surprised? Last year, she totally rocked the white-and-blue ocean theme for Maxi’s mermaid-themed party too.
