Adele’s 30th Birthday Party Is What ’90s Dreams Are Made Of

Adele is a pro when it comes to tugging at our heartstrings, whether it’s through her soaring ballads or her very honest, endearing posts on Instagram. Well, once again, Adele reminded us all she is just like the rest of us when she rang in her 30th birthday on Saturday with a Titanic-themed birthday party, complete with an almost-identical outfit to the one Kate Winslet wore in the movie

In the afterglow of the party, Adele shared photos, including one of her dancing with guests dressed in period-appropriate life jackets. She looks like she had a blast, and she was totally candid about her experience in her caption.

She wrote, “Last night was the best night of my life. Here’s a couple pics. I’m absolutely fucked, not sure I’ll make it out the house again!” Party on, Adele.

We had no idea Adele is such a huge Titanic fan (she described her love as “super fandom” in her Instagram post), but it kinda makes sense because a) what kind of person wouldn’t be in love with Titanic? and b) she and “My Heart Will Go On” crooner Céline Dion are already big fans and supporters of one another. While Adele recently popped up at Dion’s Las Vegas concert in January, Dion has covered Adele’s “Hello” at live shows a few times now; we get chills every time.

Adele’s been keeping a pretty low profile of late. Aside from posting silly Boomerang videos on Instagram, dancing to Beyoncé’s Coachella set and casually officiating a wedding between her close friends, she’s been a total homebody. We don’t blame her for planning to remain a homebody a little while longer as she recovers from all the fun that was had.
