Thankfully, Red Notice will not mess with preparations for Wonder Woman 2. According to Deadline, filming on RedNotice is set to begin in April 2019, well after WW2 is wrapped. Deadline also reports that the film will bring Gadot together with action hero du jour Dwayne Johnson and a third, still-uncast costar. Red Notice is being described by Deadline as a “globe-trotting, action-comedy, heist thriller.”
It seems reminiscent of Gadot’s comedy turn in Keeping Up With the Joneses, which saw her kicking butt alongside Jon Hamm as an undercover operative. Best of all, Gadot’s RedNotice character is described as a “brilliant and mysterious figure in the art world.” Color us very intrigued!

Gadot has experience filming with Johnson, so you can count on a good rapport already being in place when they get together. Previously, they both appeared in a couple of the Fast & Furious franchise films. At the time, she didn’t have the star power she does now, so this movie will arguably team up two of the most bankable actors in Hollywood.
Business Insider reported that Johnson is asking $22 million for Red Notice, plus a portion of the film’s profits. There’s no news yet on how much Gadot will earn for Notice, but her star is certainly on the rise, and she likely has the cachet to ask for a hefty salary as well. With equal pay such a hot topic in Hollywood, it’s safe to assume that came into consideration during negotiations; let’s hope this pans out in Gadot’s favor.

Though Gadot has been acting for a while now, it was her strong yet relatable portrayal of Wonder Woman that made her a proven action star, and she is an actor that fans can cheer on no matter what project she tackles — although her IMDb résumé tells us she’s adept at quite a lot of genres.
You can put Wonder Woman 2 on your calendar for November 1, 2019, and look for Red Notice on June 12, 2020.
