It’s official! After publicly teasing that an engagement might be on the horizon, Dancing with the Stars alum Val Chmerkovskiy proposed to longtime girlfriend and fellow dancer Jenna Johnson. She said yes, and the photos they shared on their respective social media accounts are absolutely adorable.

According to People, Chmerkovskiy proposed on Thursday in Venice, Italy. The couple are on a romantic European vacation together following Johnson’s win with Adam Rippon on the short spring season of DWTS. They started their trip in Amsterdam before moving onto Italy, a super-romantic place to propose.

Chmerkovskiy posted a photo to Instagram of himself on one knee, holding a ring out to Johnson. Her eyes are wide and her hands are covering her mouth in the most classically shocked expression we’ve ever seen. His caption, “I can’t wait to make you my wife,” is complete with a heart emoji and a crown — something he uses for Johnson often in his social media posts. Are you swooning? We are!

Johnson shared the same photo on Instagram, as well as a follow-up of her leaning down to kiss her new fiancé. In her caption, she wrote an incredibly heartfelt message: “I knew the moment I met you, you were the man of my dreams and I wanted to be with you forever. Babychka ??? ?????? thank you for making my fairytale come true today! Cannot believe I get to call you my FIANCÉ!!!!”
