Bachelor in Paradise season five has yet to premiere, but we’re already getting word that another engagement may be happening on the show. The beans have already been spilled in regards to smitten sweethearts Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon getting engaged while shooting this season. But now, Us Weekly has reported on comments recently made by Raven Gates and what her future on BiP this season might be, which left us thinking she might share some similar good news very soon.

During an appearance Wednesday morning on the talk show The Morning Toast, hosts Claudia and Jackie Oshry asked Gates if she and her boyfriend, Adam Gottschalk, would get engaged during their cameo appearance on BiP. Gates, clearly eager to build the suspense, merely replied, “I don’t know, maybe, maybe.”

While Gates remained aloof about this possible BiP engagement (which we’re going to start crossing our fingers for, because this Bachelor Nation couple is truly adorable), she did explain to Claudia and Jackie that she is so deeply in love with Gottschalk — and has been since the early days.
“I’m really obsessed with Adam,” she explained. “I’m just really happy to be with him. I really do feel, like, butterflies talking about him. He at first was, like, so obsessed with me, and now I’m so obsessed with him. I’m calling him from work, like, ‘When are you coming home? Are you home yet? Can you come home early?'”

That deep connection seems to point toward an engagement, and according to Us Weekly, even an inside source seems ready to confirm that Gates and Gottschalk are engagement-ready as well. “They were at a wedding in Arkansas together [in June] and they kept telling friends than an engagement is coming soon,” the insider revealed. “It just seems like the next step because things are going so smoothly.”
Even though we don’t know when exactly Gates and Gottschalk will appear on BiP season five, these engagement hints have given us yet another great reason to tune in when it premieres on ABC on Tuesday, Aug. 7.
