Heidi Klum is staying positive when it comes to her relationship with musician Tom Kaulitz, which means that the Negative Nancys of the world should just step aside with their rude critiques. While chatting recently with InStyle magazine, Klum got candid about how she feels when she hears people comment negatively on the age gap between her and Kaulitz and how she deals with it.

“Lately, I’m being reminded more about my age by people other than myself,” Klum began. “My boyfriend is many years younger than me, and lots of people are questioning that and asking about it. That’s really the only time when age seems to be shoved in my face and I have to give an answer for it.”
But Klum (or Kaulitz, for that matter) isn’t going to let people who shove her age in her face stop her from pursuing her new relationship. “I don’t really think about it that much otherwise,” Klum remarked. “You have to just live a happy life without worrying too much about what people think because worrying is only going to give you more wrinkles.”

Klum and Kaulitz made their official debut as a couple in May 2018. Klum linked up with the Tokio Hotel frontman shortly after breaking it off with Vito Schnabel, who has more recently been linked to Amber Heard.
